Originating of Occidental Asia and of Southern Europe and power station, the sclarée sage is mainly used in the manufacturing of liquors and perfumes. The Greeks, the Romans and the Arabs used like tonic and in compress against the bites of snakes, while the Egyptian women drank the juice of them to increase their fertility.
